Daisuke Goura, a job-hunting refugee, visits the Biblia antiquarian bookstore to authenticate the signature on his grandmother's Natsume Soseki collection. As it happens, he visits the owner, who is in the hospital, and finds Shioriko Shinokawa, a beautiful dark-haired woman he had seen by chance in high school. Shy but with an unparalleled knowledge of antiquarian books, Shioriko deciphers the mystery surrounding the complete works of Soseki Natsume and begins to talk to Daisuke... This is a story of old books and secrets, woven by Shioriko and her strange guests.
